In the weeks running up to last Thursday’s elections I was busy working across Erith & Thamesmead, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley, meeting people, canvassing and delivering leaflets.
We had a huge team supporting us, Boris joined us, Conservative GLA Members, Local Councillors, MEP’s and even MP’s were out and about knocking on doors and handing out leaflets.
During the whole campaign, I didn’t see a single Labour activist once. Where are they?
Even on polling day, we had people at many polling stations (tellers) but across the constituency we didn’t see a single red rosette.
Maybe they are exhausted after their gruelling and chaotic selection process. Maybe they are too embarrassed by their Leader and their out of puff Government.
Any ideas?
I am STANDING FOR CHANGE. As the Member of Parliament for Erith & Thamesmead I will fight for local people and make sure that our constituency gets the strong leadership it deserves. Like most people, I am sick and tired of the way that this area has been let down by the Labour Party who have taken us for granted. If I am going to bring dynamic political leadership to our area, I need YOUR VOTE! Married with four children, I am actively involved in my church, council and charities.
